Skam France (also known as Skam France/Belgique), is the French international remake of the Norwegian series Skam.

Format[]

Skam France publishes clips and episodes on many platforms, episodes and clips can be found on the TV networks' websites and starting with Season 2 on France tv Slash's Youtube channel. There is no official website like Skam but the real-time format is the same. Text message conversations are posted on Instagram stories but there isn't an official archive for them. Characters have their own Instagram accounts which "they" post to, like the original.

Summary[]

Season 1[]

Emma just started her first year of highschool. With her new friends Manon, Daphné, Imane and Alexia, they are gonna attempt to organize the biggest party ever thrown by first years. To get there, they'll have to plan it, raise funds, gain popularity and influence, join the trendy party, have cool friends, among the "big" third years, even if it means to redefine some friendships, their relationships, break hearts, have yours broken...

Season 2[]

Manon is a mysterious teenager who is more mature than others in appearance, from her friendship with her new friends to the tormented relationship she has with Charles, the most popular guy at school.

Season 3[]

Lucas falls in love with Eliott, a third year who just arrived in highschool and Lucas has to face people's glances. From his friends Yann, Basile and Arthur, but also all the other students. At the same time, Lucas helps his other friends with renovating the highschool's common room. Daphné, the eternal energetic leader, and her friends are dreaming of a welcoming place that would be open to everyone, THE place to be.

Season 4[]

Imane is disturbed by the irruption in her life of Sofiane, a friend of her brother. This arrival will lead her to search her way between her parents expectations, the ones of her friends, her desire and her beliefs. This journey is universal: the one of a teenager oscillating between the love she has for her family and her values; and in the quest for her autonomy and her identity.

Season 5[]

Arthur sees his life suddenly change following a hearing shock. An upheaval that will impact his daily life and his relationship with others, but to what extent?

Season 6[]

Lola may be Daphné's sister, but the two girls couldn't be more different. If Daphne is naturally optimistic, joyful and ingenuous, Lola drags a darkness and a permanent unhappiness. This is one of the reasons why Daphne never spoke about her ... And then, a family drama will turn the existence of the two sisters upside down. Lola, isolated and self-destructive, completely loses herself. She will have to learn to open up to others: Eliott, Maya and La Mif, the newcomers, but also of course the gang and the crew.

Season 7[]

Tiffany spent her first year bullying Lola, and since La Mif joined their school, the two girls have been avoiding each other. Lola feels safe, surrounded by her close guard. After a rhythmic gymnastics competition, Tiff suffers from severe stomach pains. She collapsed in the middle of the locker room, the firefighters were called in urgence. Their verdict is final: Tiff is the victim of a pregnancy denial. How will she deal with this trauma? How will she take care of the baby? Will Mif manage to leave the past behind to help her to get through this trauma? After this upheaval, Tiff will never be the same again ...

Season 8[]

Bilal, is always stylish and passionate about fashion, but in reality he is far from being a carefree teenager. He and his brother Zakaria have been on their own for a month and have been facing precariousness. Their mother, having lost her job during the Covid crisis is crawling under debt and left to work in the South. Everything changes when Bilal and Zakaria are evicted from their home. Fearing foster home and too ashamed to talk to La Mif about it, Bilal decides to fend for himself and his brother. Will Bilal manage to save appearances with La Mif and Redouane, his best friend who knows him by heart?

Season 9[]

Mythical couple of Skam France, Maya and Lola break up. It is especially Lola, tired of their arguments, who leaves Maya, by reproaching her of always running away. It is true that Maya has created a shell to protect herself from misfortune. As soon as she feels vulnerable, she takes refuge in her own world, which even La Mif has a hard time to enter. But this heartbreak hits her right in the heart and will force her to confront everything she has buried since the death of her parents. If she manages to open up, will Lola come back?

Season 10[]

Anaïs is in love with Hugo, her boyfriend of a few months. But one night, as they come back from a party, drunk, he insists to get into her place even if she doesn't feel well. Lying down on the bed, Hugo wants to sleep with her but Anaïs says no. In a state of shock, she is unable to stop him when he penetrates her with his fingers... Will Anaïs be able to put words on what happened? Will she have the courage to confront Hugo? What impact will this trauma have in her life? And how will the sorority help her in that fight?

Season 11[]

Estranged from her family following a court decision, Rym arrives at Dorian High School during the middle of the year, where she tries to integrate despite the label of former delinquent that sticks to her skin.

Season 12[]

When he is about to have his "first time" with his long time girlfriend, Maël the pretty boy of the school, feels like a stop...he is gonna try to understand that absence of desire and learn to know himself better.

Maël is the nicest member of The Clones. He is the class delegate, nice with everyone. We could wonder why he hangs out with them! But Maël is a bit of a coward...which result into him being into the shadow of his best friend Félix. If he would open up to another group, the one of The Weirdos, Could Maël find the courage to affirm his difference in turn?
